Corporate English

Online English lessons for your employees – one to one or in small groups. For meetings, e-mails and talks with clients.

From our lessons

The English your people actually use

No textbook dialogues. The teacher works with your people’s e-mails, meetings and presentations – and with the mistakes Czech speakers make at work most often.

  • An e-mail to a client

You are sending the revised contract.

What comes to mind: The actual version is in the attachment.

What you take away: Please find the current version attached.

“Actual” means real – Czech “aktuální” means current.

  • A deadline

You promise the documents by the end of the week.

What comes to mind: We will send it until Friday.

What you take away: We’ll send it by Friday.

Czech uses one word for both “by” and “until”.

  • A team meeting

You want to go back to an item on the agenda.

What comes to mind: I have a question to the point two.

What you take away: I have a question about point two.

In Czech you ask a question “to” something.

  • A phone call

You call a supplier about an invoice.

What comes to mind: I’m calling because of the invoice.

What you take away: I’m calling about the invoice.

Czech “kvůli” turns into “about”, not “because of”.

  • A presentation

    You present the quarterly results.

What comes to mind: Now I will tell you something about our results.

What you take away: Let me walk you through our results.

A natural opener instead of a word-for-word translation.

  • A negotiation

The partner’s price is above your budget.

What comes to mind: This price is too high, we cannot accept it.

What you take away: We were hoping for something closer to our budget.

The same message – and the talks go on.

What we offer

Three ways to train your team

  • One to one

For managers, sales people and specialists. Each has their own teacher and a plan built around their role, and books lessons at times that suit them.

from 550 CZK per 50-minute lesson

  • A group of colleagues

A closed group of people from your company at a similar level. They practise the English they really share at work – meetings, projects and the same clients.

    • one regular time for everyone
    • topics from your field and projects
    • everyone’s level checked one by one

The price depends on the size of the group – we send it with our offer.

  • A team workshop

One topic your team needs to work on: presenting, difficult conversations or working with colleagues from other cultures. Practised in English from the start.

The price depends on the scope – we send it with our offer.

How we work together

From the first call to the first lesson

  1. A short call

We talk about who needs English, what for and by when.

  2. Level check

Every participant has a short first lesson so that we know where they start.

  3. Our proposal

We send the format, the schedule, the teachers and the price. We start once you approve it.

  4. Lessons and reports

Your people learn online on schedule, and once a month you get an overview and an invoice.

  • Online – from the office, from home or on a business trip
  • A lesson can be moved when cancelled in time
  • No long-term commitment
For HR and team leads

What you get every month

Nothing to chase or collect. We send you:

  • one invoice for the whole team, lesson by lesson
  • the attendance of every participant
  • their level and what each of them works on

FAQ

What companies ask

Can’t find your answer? Call +420 776 645 429 or write to [email protected].

One is enough. One-to-one lessons work for anyone in the team; a group is made up of colleagues at a similar level.

We teach online, over a video call. People join from the office, from home or on a business trip, and nobody has to book a meeting room.

If they cancel in time, we move the lesson to another date. How far ahead, we agree in the offer for your company.

We check every participant’s level at the start and set the goals together. Every month you then get an overview of attendance and of what each person works on.

By one invoice a month for all participants. Employees can also pay for lessons themselves with benefits (Edenred, Pluxee, Up, Benefit Plus).

No. We do not ask for a long-term commitment – you can extend or scale down the lessons as you need.
